Smart Urban Sanitation (SSU)

Integrates SAP-PM and GIS with mobility, for the planning, operation and management of sewerage and urban drainage in real time, in order to have a traceability of actions on them. The SSU is a supporting tool for efficient management and decision making.

It integrates multiple features in a modular design, allowing for centralized management of the sanitation networks, and extension of the applications according to operational needs. The most representative features are:

• Planning and monitoring of works on the network, identifying areas of the sanitation network on which actuations are performed.
• Tracking maintenance works in the network, reflecting the impact on the system of detected breakdowns.
• The connection with the Call Customer Center, which allows to locate geographical incidents reported by our customers, as well as the traceability of warnings received.
• The generation of work orders for maintenance crews and the subsequent recording the outcome of each actuation, including mobile terminals for field work, allowing the immediate update of information.
• Preventive maintenance by integration of system with assets management, including periodical inspections of works and items, periodical cleanings of gutters, periodical readings of limnimeters...
• Projects management, design of constructive solutions for new pipelines and localization of urban developments.
• Management of conditions in the network, monitoring and control of network interference caused by third parties.
• Property management to control the value of the assets and their location.
• Incorporate meteorological measurements by radar, for the prevention of floods.
• Mathematical modelling of systems in Infoworks, for the elaboration of a master plans of urban sanitation, as well as to prevent the risk of floods.
